On February 9, 2023, the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations (DAFO), the Vietnam - American Friendship Association of Da Nang City (Association), and the Consulate General of the United States of America in Ho Chi Minh City organized the Opening Ceremony of the Virtual English Language Course. The course was sponsored by the Regional English Language Office and the Consulate General of the United States of America in Ho Chi Minh City (RELO).

On February 25, 2023, leaders of the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations (DAFO) and the Vietnam - America Friendship Association of Da Nang city (Association) met with the delegation of the Consulate General of the United States of America in Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation was led by the U.S. Consul General Susan M. Burns.

On October 1, 2022, on the occasion of the University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Danang (UFLS-UD) celebrating the 49th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Japan (1973 - 2022), the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of Da Nang collaborated with UFLS-UD to hold a ceremony to launch and announce the decision to establish a Branch at UFLS-UD.
